To place a custom order request, please fill out the form below, or send an email to m@craftsbymaya.com. Please provide the following information (and anything else you think I should know):
- Item Type, such as larger handbag (sunflower bag below), smaller clutch, drawstring bag, custom animal plush. Note that I DO NOT MAKE CLOTHING, (besides the occasional hat/beanie) but I DO MAKE BLANKETS. Please see the custom blankets section for more info.
- Please state if you already have a specific desired pattern (or photo, send a link or image) for the item, or specify any items you’ve seen on the site. Give any details that would be helpful to make the item, especially any variations from pattern, picture, or my current items.
- Provide any sizing information (big, small, compared to an item, etc., or specific height/width/depth measurements).
- List your color preferences (if I don’t have stock, I will let you know, and discuss either custom ordering yarn or alternative colors).
- Your full name and email address. You can separately provide a phone number if you prefer to discuss by text instead of email. But email is still needed to send an invoice for review.
PLEASE READ AND NOTE THESE IMPORTANT THINGS BEFORE MAKING A CUSTOM ORDER REQUEST:
- Depending on the particular item, size, complexity, and colors, the resulting price WILL VARY. There may be some room for negotiation, however the amount of time to create the item, and cost of materials, only allow so much flexibility.
- For all items, you will be sent an invoice to review before actually placing the order. For anything complex, I need to request payment of 50% up-front, and 50% upon delivery. Should an order be cancelled after work has started, the pre-payment will not be refunded except under special circumstances, or if I’m unable to complete the custom item.
- Note you are making a request, not yet placing an order. Because of my ability to make certain patterns, I may need to turn down certain requests. Apologies in advance!
- I will give my best estimate for how long the item will take to produce, but I cannot and will not guarantee a delivery date.
- I AM CURRENTLY A PLUSH YARN ARTIST. I WILL DO COTTON/ACRYLIC YARN ORDERS ONLY WITH SPECIAL REQUESTS ON ITEMS SUCH AS BAGS, LOVEY’S AND HATS. COTTON/YARN REQUESTS HAVE LIMITED ITEM OPTIONS AND ARE NOT GUARANTEED. PLEASE NOTE THIS WHEN MAKING YOUR REQUEST! Thank you!
